Lacey Police Charge Bayville Man With Drunk Driving After Hit And Run In Lanoka Harbor
Thomas S. Meade facing a number of charges after two-car crash, police chief says.

Lacey police recently arrested a Bayville man and charged him with drunk driving and host of other motor vehicle offenses after he left the scene of a two-car crash, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officers Noah Schaffer and Darrell Nick responded to Route 9 North and Bay Way in Lanoka Harbor at 3:31 p.m. on Aug. 3 on a report of a hit and run. They located Thomas S. Meade, 34, Cranmer Road, Bayville, a short distance away and charged him with driving under the influence, the chief said.
He was taken to police headquarters, where he was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, failure to yield, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash and failure to report a motor vehicle crash, DiBella said.

His vehicle was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.
