Lacey Police Charge Bayville Woman With Drunk Driving In Parking Lot

Lacey police recently arrested a Bayville woman who was found drinking alcohol in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy at 700 Route North in Lanoka Harbor, Police Chief Michael C. Dibella said.

Officer John Simonson responded to the parking lot at 4:07 p.m. on March 4. An investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Catherine M. Demand, Pelican Point, Bayville for driving under the influence, the chief said.

She was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and released after being charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving, DiBella said.

The vehicle she was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, he said.
