Lacey Police Charge Berkeley Woman With Shoplifting In Lacey Walmart

Arrest came a day after the incident, police chief said.

Lacey police have charged a Berkeley Township woman with shoplifting a day after she was spotted on Walmart surveillance video taking merchandise valued at $727.28, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Brian Holt responded to the store located at 580 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor at 10:31 a.m. on Oct. 23. on a report of a female shoplifter who seen taking items on Saturday, Oct. 22.

An investigation resulted in the issuance of a criminal warrant for shoplifting merchandise for Laura A. Adams, 49, Guadeloupe Drive. Her bail was set at $10,000, DiBella said.
