Lacey Police Charge Eatontown Man With Drunk Driving After Crash
Thomas Granit, 25, struck a parked car, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - An Eatontown man is facing drunk driving charges after he struck a parked car at 3:05 a.m. on New Year's Day, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said
Officers Patrick Watkins, Elton Copes, and Scott Keefe responded to a Donald Street home in Lanoka Harbor on a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a parked vehicle. They arrested Thomas Granit, 25, Alameda Court for driving under the influence, the chief said.
Granit was taken to police headquarters, where he was charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. His vehicle was impounded pursuant to John's Law DiBella said.
