Lacey Police Charge Forked River Man With Drunk Driving

Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River man after they responded to a report of a driver who appeared to be driving under the influence, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officers Jesse Dalziel and Michael Hein responded to the 500 block of Alpine Street in Forked River for a report of a driver who was suspected to be operating his motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance at 1:10 p.m. on Nov. 20, the chief said.

Investigation at the scene led to the arrest Ryan K. Whitlock, 34, Alpine Street for driving under the influence. and reckless driving, DiBella said.

Whitlock's car was was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.
