Lacey Police Charge Forked River Woman With Drunk Driving
The arrest came after a traffic stop on Alpine Street recently, police say.

A Forked River woman is facing drunk driving and a number of other motor vehicle charges after Lacey police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Alpine Street near Deerhead Lake Drive North recently, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Charles May stopped Jennifer R. Bernard, 38, Lakeside Drive North, at 10:14 p.m. on Nov. 27. Investigation at the scene led her arrest for driving under the influence, the chief said.
She was taken to police headquarters,where she was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to exhibit registration and failure to give a proper signal. The vehicle she was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, DiBella said.
