Lacey Police Charge Lanoka Harbor Man With DUI, Heroin Possession
Arrest took place on Laurel Boulevard.

A Lanoka Harbor man is facing a myriad of drug and motor vehicle charges following his arrest on the 1100 block of Laurel Boulevard recently, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Christopher Meyler responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at 12:24 a.m. on Dec. 10. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, Thomas J. Girone, Jr., 28, Laurel Boulevard, the chief said.
Girone was charged with driving under the influence, possession of heroin and possession of a hypodermic syringe and taken to police headquarters. His bail was set at $10,000.

Girone also was charged with reckless driving, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license, failure to produce insurance cars and tinted windows, DiBella said.
He also had an outstanding Lacey Township Municipal Court warrant with $458. He was unable to post bail and was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.
