Lacey Police Charge Toms River Man Found Lying On Sidewalk With Heroin Possession
Landon S. Ruutikainen, 25, was found in front of the Lacey Diner in Forked River, police say.

Lacey police recently arrested a Toms River man after he was found lying on the sidewalk in front of the Lacey Diner in Forked River, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Evan Androcy responded to the diner located at 530 Lacey Road at 12:33 p.m. on Oct. 15 on a report of an unconscious male lying on the front sidewalk, the chief said.
Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Landon S. Ruutikainen, 25, of Grand Avenue in Toms River for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was taken to police headquarters and processed. Ruutikainen was released after receiving a criminal summons for possession of heroin and possession of a hypodermic syringe, the chief said.
