Lacey Police Charge Two Bayville Men With Heroin Possession

Police observed the two acting suspiciously before they entered a convenience store bathroom, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently arrested two Bayville men after detectives spotted them in a suspicious interaction before they entered a convenience store bathroom, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Lacey detectives entered the bathroom at 1:23 p.m. on Jan. 9 and found Christopher Bovino, 24, holding some cash. The other suspect, Brendan Wason, 30,was locked in a bathroom stall. When Watson left the stall, detectives found nine wax folds of heroin on the floor, the chief said.

Bovino was charged with possession and distribution of heroin. Wason was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both men were released pending a court appearance, DiBella said.
