Lacey Police Charge Two Men With Heroin Possession In Wawa Parking Lot

Both men also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lacey police recently arrested two men for heroin possession in the parking lot of the Wawa store on Route 9 South in Forked River, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Scott Keefe responded to the area of Route 9 and Beach Boulevard at 9:23 p.m. on April 15 on a report of a possibly intoxicated driver. While he was checking the parking lot, he was told there was a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the store. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, Ryan J. Tatham, 28, Lakeside Drive South, Forked River and Kyle A. Conroy, 27, Beach Boulevard, Forked River for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, the chief said.

They were taken to police headquarters. Both received criminal summonses for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Tatham was also charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, DiBella said.
