Lacey Police Charge Waretown Woman With Drunk Driving On Christmas Day
Michelle M. Anstee, 32, of Mizzen Way had a child in the car during the motor vehicle stop, police chief says.
A Waretown woman was charged with drunk driving with a child in the car on Christmas Day after police responded to an aggressive driver complaint heading eastbound, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Anthony Sarno located the car and conducted a motor vehicle stop on Lacey Road near Arlington Avenue. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Michelle M. Anstee, 32, Mizzen Way in Waretown.
Anstee was he was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on a criminal summons for DUI with a minor child, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and failure to exhibit an insurance card. The vehicle she was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, DiBella said.
