Lacey Police Charge Woman With Drunk Driving After Accident

Annarosa K. Carratura, 32, of Forked River is also facing other charges, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River woman for driving under the influence after they responded to an accident at the intersection of Lacey Road and Newark Avenue, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officers Jesse Dalziel and Patrick Watkins responded to the accident at 10:32 p.m. on Feb. 11. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Annarosa K. Carratura, 32, Hillwood Road. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was also charged with reckless driving, failure to observe a signal and using a cell phone while driving, the chief said.

The vehicle she was driving was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.
