Lacey Police Investigating Princeton Avenue Burglary

Someone shattered a glass door and stole $400 in loose change, police chief says.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police are investigating a break-in and burglary at a home in the 700 block of Princeton Avenue, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Scott Keefe and Officer Jason Lee responded to the home in Lanoka Harbor at 8:20 p.m. on Dec. 17 on a burglary report.

The victim told police that between 3:30 p.m. and 8:20 p.m., someone shattered the rear glass door of the house and stole a plastic can with roughly $400 in loose change from the laundry room, DiBella said.

The damage to the glass door is estimated at $500, the chief said.
