Lacey Police Investigating Theft Of $39,000 In Jewelry, Cash From Forked River Home

No evidence of forced entry, police said.

Lacey police are looking for whoever entered a home on the 500 block of Elwood Street in Forked River and stole $39,000 in cash, jewelry and other items, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officers Jason Lee and Julie Barcalow responded to the home at 10:36 p.m. on Oct. 15 on a report of a residential burglary. The victims told police an unknown person or persons entered their home and took the money and the other items, the chief said.

There were no signs of forced entry to the residence, DiBella said.
