Lacey Police Investigating Theft Of $7,000 in Jewelry From Forked River Home

Lacey police are investigating the theft of $7,000 in jewelry stolen from an unsecured safe in a Dunberry Drive home, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Brian Holt responded to the Forked River home on a theft report at 3:17 p.m. on Oct. 7 the chief said.

The victim reported that the jewelry was stolen from the safe on Sept. 3. The items were described as a woman's diamond and sapphire pendant and earrings and a gold bracelet. The items were valued at $7,000, DiBella said.

There were no signs of forced entry, he said.
