Lacey Police Investigating Theft Of Computer And Other Items From Vehicle
Victim said items were taken while he was shopping, police chief says.

The victim had shopped at several Lacey stores for a few hours.
When he returned to his vehicle on Dec. 11, his Dell laptop computer, a tablet, headphones and a backpack - valued at $1,745 - were missing, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Patrick Watkins responded to police headquarters at 3:57 p.m on Dec. 12 on a theft report. The victim believes the items were taken sometime between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on December 11, 2016, while he was shopping at either Home Depot, Kohl's, or Shop Rite in Lacey Township.

There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle and the incident is under investigation, the chief said.
