Lacey Police Investigating Theft Of Items Valued At $16,509 From Forked River Shed
A number of items - mostly valuable fishing gear - were taken from the structure on Montauk Drive, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella says

Lacey police are investigating the theft of multiple items valued at $16,509 stolen from a shed on Montauk Drive in Forked River, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Frederick Anderson responded to police headquarters at 9:35 a.m. on a theft report. The victim told police that sometime in the past three weeks someone stole four Black Bart 130-pound fishing rods, four 2-speed Penn International 130VSX gold series fishing reels, a Jerry Brown 500-pound fishing line spooled on the four reels listed above, two Tony Maja black and red fishing rods, two Avet HX 5/2 silver fishing reels, an East Wing framing hammer, an East Wing concrete hammer, a DeWalt cordless hammer drill, a Makita 7.25 skill saw, a DeWalt miter saw, a DeWalt miter saw cutting stand, a tackle bag containing assorted offshore fishing tackle, and assorted copper pipes and fittings to plumb the residence, the chief said.
The total value of the stolen property is estimated at $16,509.00. The incident remains under investigation, DiBella said.
