Lacey Police: Lakewood Man Who Took Car, Drove It On One Rim, Facing Multiple Drug Charges

Car had been abandoned in the parking lot of Mrs. Walker's Ice Cream on Sunday, police chief says.

The car traveling on its rear driver's side rim on Route 9 South in Forked River looked familiar to Lacey Officer Andrew Slota.

He had seen it abandoned in the parking lot of Mrs. Walker's Ice Cream on June 11. The car had later been removed, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

When the vehicle pulled into the parking lot of the Forked River Diner on June 11, Slota arrested the driver, Ryan D. Territo, 25, Corbin Court, Lakewood. Territo was charged with possession of hypodermic syringes, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and unlawful taking by means of conveyance, the chief said.
