LACEY, NJ — Monday night’s episode of "American Ninja Warrior" will feature a local Lacey teenager as she competes against national athletes.
Ava Colasanti, a 16-year-old self-proclaimed “savage,” will showcase her athletic skills and determination in difficult challenges for a television audience of 35 million people.
Elite athletes run, climb and jump throughout obstacle courses each episode, putting their strength, agility and coordination to the test.

Donning a shirt that says “SAVAGE,” Colasanti says this has become her personal motto since she’s worked hard and trained like a savage in gyms and training camps over the past five years.
Colasanti spends a lot of her time training at Centercourt Athletic Club in Chatham and has also participated in cross country running for Lacey Township High School.
