Lacey Township Police Blotter: Nov. 25 - Dec. 2

Three people who were pulled over last week at separate motor vehicle stops were found to have outstanding warrants, Lacey police said.

LACEY, NJ — Released by Lacey Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests:

On Friday, Nov. 26 at 10:45 pm, Officer Dylan Emmett conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Route 9 and Haines Street in Lanoka Harbor, for no headlights on. The driver, Jacquelyn Smith, 30, was found to have an outstanding no-bail warrant from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. As a result of the warrant she was arrested and transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility without incident.

On Sunday, Nov. 28 at 1:51 pm, Officer Michael Hyle conducted a motor vehicle stop on Laurel Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor. The driver, William Frank, age 77, was found to have a suspended driver’s license and an outstanding Berkeley Township Municipal Court warrant. Frank was transported to headquarters where he posted his bail in full. He was issued a motor vehicle summons and released.

On Sunday, Nov. 28 at 5:46 pm, Officer Michael Hyle responded to Gille Park for a report of criminal mischief to the bathrooms. Upon arrival, he discovered graffiti within the women’s bathroom, located closest to the soccer fields. The bathrooms were secured and the damage to the bathrooms were photographed. The DPW was notified about the incident for removal.

On Thursday, Dec. 2 at 8:06 pm, Officer Martin Julian conducted a motor vehicle stop for speeding near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Route 9 South in Forked River. Investigation at the scene revealed that the driver, Zalika Hamilton, 26, had an outstanding warrant. Hamilton was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters. She was later released on her own recognizance after being issued a motor vehicle summons.
