Lacey Transportation Company Offering Free Rides To Polls

The Lacey Courier and Transportation Company is offering voters a free ride to and from the polls through the rest of Election Day .

The transportation service is able to cover a larger area of Ocean County. A fleet of vehicles covers most of Ocean County on any given day with the highest volume of service between Toms River Township and Stafford Township. Many agencies and organizations are closed on Election Day; therefore, transportation will have its fleet available to service voters on Election Day.

When you call to reserve transportation; a dispatcher will take some information in order to arrange a ride. In most cases the dispatcher will try and accommodate you and another rider going to the same polling station.

Please call before 4 p.m. to make a reservation. Vehicles are not wheelchair accessible, but the driver provide assistance in and out of the vehicle.
