Lacey's Gille Park Skate Park Night Coming Up On Friday

Lacey Township police will hold their next evening at Gille Park Skate Park for skateboarders, scooters and in-line skaters next Friday, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

The event will be held at the park on May 5 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be a live DJ, and lighting provided by the police and Forked River and Lanoka Harbor fire departments. Both the Lacey Township EMS and Lanoka Harbor EMS will also be on hand.

Bottled water is allowed in the park. Tom and Dee's Italian Ice will be selling items for purchase.

Evening skate park will also be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 19, Friday, June 2, and Friday, June 30. Additional dates after that will also be announced.

Skate park nights are coordinated by the Lacey Township Recreation Department, police department and the Lacey Township Municipal Alliance.
