LACEY, NJ — What is music therapy? If you're curious about how music can improve your life, register for “How to Use Music Therapy: Techniques to Navigate Everyday Challenges” at the Ocean County Library Lacey Branch, 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 30.

Music Therapist Zach Alfred Levow of Holisticare Hospice will define what music therapy is and

will introduce ways that you can use it to promote inner harmony, reduce stress and contribute to
a healthy lifestyle.

Holisticare Hospice, located in Toms River, Red Bank and Pennsylvania, provides late-stage life
care services by physicians, nurses, medical social workers, counselors and volunteers.
Holisticare maintains affiliations with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, National
Aging in Place Council, Alzheimer’s Assocation, We Honor Veterans, National Hospice and
Palliative Care Organization and Community Hospices of America Foundation.

New Jerseyan Zach Alfred Levow is a 2022 graduate of Boston’s Berklee College of Music where
he majored in music therapy and film scoring. In addition to his work for Holisticare, he has written
two full-length musicals.
