Little Egg Harbor Woman Killed In Lacey Crash, Driver in Critical Condition: Cops
Accident happened on late Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Lacey Road and Newark Avenue.

A Little Egg Harbor woman died in a car accident late Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Lacey Road and Newark Avenue, Office George Resetar said.
Police responded to the scene at 4:39 p.m. on Nov. 29 to find two vehicles blocking the westbound lane of Lacey Road, both badly damaged, he said.
Preliminary investigation at the scene showed that Isaias Velazquez, 85, Little Egg Harbor was trying to turn left from Lacey Road onto Newark Avenue in front of a westbound vehicle driven by Jacob Dabal, 23, Forked River, Resetar said.

Isaias Velazquez was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with back and
neck pain and is listed in critical condition. Angelica Velazquez, a front seat passenger in the vehicle, suffered significant injuries and was also taken to Jersey Shore, where she died, he said.
Jacob Dabal was uninjured, but his front seat passenger, Daniel Dabal, complained of
right side pain in his shoulder. He was transported to Southern Ocean County
Medical Center for further evaluation.

Members of the Lacey Township Traffic Safety Unit, the Forked River Fire Company, MONOC paramedics, the Lacey Township EMS, Lanoka Harbor EMS, Beachwood EMS, the Ocean County Sheriff's Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office also responded.
