Local Musician To Play 'Hometown' Concert At Lacey Library
Local musician Pete Wagula will play classic tunes and new music from his latest album "Homecoming" at the Lacey Library next month.
LACEY, NJ — Enjoy the acoustic guitar music of a local artist at a free concert next month.
Pete Wagula, a local musician, will perform classic tunes along with new music from his latest album “Homecoming” at the concert set for the Ocean County Library Lacey Branch at 2 p.m. on Feb. 17.
“Bitten by the guitar bug” at age five, Wagula began playing professionally with Kucharik’s Dream Child, Bob Geiger, Ghost Town, and Local 69, studied with jazz legend Tal Farlow, wrote for Guitar Player magazine, formed a blues trio, and went solo in 2004.

His evening guitar classes at the Ocean County Vocational-Technical School are considered among New Jersey’s best, according to a library news release.
Mixing live guitar looping into his original instrumentals, Wagula showcases his bottleneck proficiency on dobro and classic and contemporary metal- and wood-body guitars.
