Man Sprayed With Pepper Spray In Road Rage Incident Near Forked River Toll Booth In Lacey

Incident took place at Exit 74 on the Garden State Parkway.

Lacey police are looking for a man involved in a road rage incident who sprayed another driver in the face with pepper spray near the Garden State toll plaza last week, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officers Michael Hein and Jeffrey Slota responded to the parking lot of 701 Lacey Road in Forked River, in reference to a road rage incident at 2:24 p.m. on Dec. 30.

The victim told police he was stopped at the toll plaza when the driver behind him began excessively honking his horn because he apparently became angry at how long he was stopped.
