Motorcylist Airlifted To Jersey Shore After Lacey Accident
The cause of the Route 9 accident is still under investigation.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - A 66-year-old Lanoka Harbor man had to be airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center on Saturday afternoon after he was injured in a motorcycle accident, Officer Andrew Slota said.
Officers responded to the single vehicle accident on Jan. 27 at roughly 2:56 p.m. The motorcyclist was heading southbound on Route 9 when he lost control of the vehicle and fell. The cause of the crash is unknown, he said.
The man was taken to Jersey Shore by helicopter due to the extent of his injuries. Members of the Lanoka Harbor EMS and the Forked River Fire Department also assisted, Slota said.
