Multiple Break-Ins Reported In Lacey : Police Chief
All the incidents are under investigation by the Lacey Police Detective Bureau.

LACEY, NJ - At least three Lacey Township homes were broken into during late February, Lacey Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Feb. 21 - Officer Frederick Anderson responded to the 200 block of Chestnut Drive in Lanoka Harbor, for a report of a burglary at 1:48 p.m. on Feb. 21.The victim reported that between October 2016 and February 21, 2017, an unknown person or persons forced entry into their residence by breaking a rear garage window. Once inside the person or persons rummaged through the residence. But it's unknown if anything was taken. The window damage is estimated at $100. The Lacey Township Police Detective Bureau was notified and the incident remains under investigation.
Feb. 18 - Officer Brian Holt responded to the 800 block of Hazelton Avenue in Lanoka Harbor on a burglary report at 4:52 p.m. on Feb. 18. The victim reported that between 4 p.m. on February 5, and 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, an unknown person or persons forced entry into the residence by breaking a window. At the time of the report the complainant was unsure if anything was stolen from the residence. The window damage is estimated at $500. The Lacey Township Police Detective Bureau was notified and the incident remains under investigation.

Feb. 17 - Officer Noah Schaffer responded to the 2000 block of Hillwood Road in Forked River on a burglary report at 3:06 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17. The complainant reported that between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 17 an unknown person or persons entered the residence through an unlocked bedroom window. Once inside the unknown person or persons stole property including $150 in cash (loose change and dollar bills), a small silver cross pendant valued at $200, a pair of white sapphire earrings valued at $300 and a pair of ¼ carat diamond earrings valued at $400. The total theft is estimated at $1050. The incident remains under investigation.
