Next Young People In Recovery Meeting To Be Held In Lacey On Thursday Night

The meeting will be held in the Lacey Recreation Department building at 818 West Lacey Road.

The Ocean County Chapter Of Young People in Recovery (YPR) will meet tonight at 7:30 at p.m. in the Lacey Township Recreation Department building at 818 West Lacey Road.

YPR was founded in 2010 by young people in recovery who recognized the need for increased resources for young people who are in or seeking recovery. Historically, the unique needs of young people in recovery have been neglected. The group aims to expand support systems for young people in or seeking recovery.

Chapters help by empowering young people to obtain stable jobs, secure housing and explore continuing education, according to the group's Facebook page.
