No One Injured In Fire In Forked River Garage, Police Say

Four Area Fire Companies Responded To Put Out Blaze

No one was injured in a fire that broke out in the garage of a Forked River home on Tuesday afternoon, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

When Patrolman Dmitri Tsarnas and Detective Bryan Flynn arrived at 2:19 p.m., they found the garage already on fire and all occupants of the home outside.

The Forked River, Lanoka Harbor, Bayville and Waretown fire departments responded and extinguished the fire.

The Ocean County Fire Marshall's Office and the Lacey detective are investigating.
