Ocean Gate Man Issued Summons For Trespassing At Trestle

Man was charged for parking car on trestle property, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Lacey police have charged an Ocean Gate man with trespassing for parking his car on property at the trestle, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officers Anthony Sarno and Dan Ricciardella were dispatched to the trestle at 5000 Cedar Avenue in Lanoka Harbor at 4:15 p.m. on July 1, the chief said. They observed a parked vehicle and several subjects swimming.

The owner of the vehicle, Jake R. Cohn, 23, East Bay Avenue, Ocean Gate, was given a special complaint summons for a municipal ordinance violation for trespassing, after he drove past the no trespassing signs, the chief said.
