Oct. 12: Psychic Night, Coffeehouse, Movie Showing

Events in and around Lacey Township

1. There is a photographer exhibit at the Arts and Community Center Gallery at the Ocean County College from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

2. The Dish will be showing at the library at 1 p.m. Bring lunch but the Friends of the Lacey Library will provide snacks.

3. The Lacey Food Bank presents its third Psychic Night 6 p.m. at the Captain’s Inn. Psychics from Charmed in Company will be available for readings. Admission is $30 per person and includes a 15-minute reading, light refreshments, coffee/tea and dessert. A cash bar will be available. Advance reservations are recommended although walk-ins are welcome. The event will also feature vendor tables and a silent auction table. All proceeds will benefit the Lacey Food Bank Kids Program.

4. There is a fundraiser for the Kopack family at Hebrew Park at 7 p.m.

5. The Lacey United Methodist Church is hosting its monthly Friday Night Coffeehouse from 7 to 10 p.m. Bill McLeod and Nick Nubz will be performing. Open mic time is at 9 p.m. Admission is free. Coffee, tea, soda and baked goods are available for $1 a piece. Proceeds benefit the church’s charitable ministries.
