Parking Lot Assault In Lacey McDonalds May Have Stemmed From Road Rage Incident, Police Chief Says
Police were called to parking lot shortly before midnight.

Lacey police are investigating a possible road rage incident that resulted in an altercation in the parking lot of the McDonalds on Route 9, Lt. Chris Kenny said.
A 22-year-old woman called police at 11:44 p.m. on Friday night to report that she and her father were being tailgated by another vehicle, she said.
When she pulled into the parking lot, the other vehicle followed. Shortly after that, the occupants of the other vehicle and her father became involved in a "physical altercation," according to the police report.

"The incident appears to be resulting from a road rage incident," the report states.
The occupants of the other car went to police headquarters to provide statements. The incident remains under investigation, Kenny said.
