Speakers discussed bike safety and multisport following the athletic event
Cub Scout Pack 35 recently held a duathlon, an athletic event that consists of a running leg, a cycling leg and then another running leg.
The event, which was held at Gille Park, consisted of a quarter mile run followed by a one-mile bike or scooter and another quarter mile run. All scouts received medals at the end of the race.
Speakers followed the duathlon: Tommy Craig, a triathlon coach and owner of Zoom3 Endurance Training and Ken Disharoon, owner of Bicycles Unlimited on Lacey Road.
