Police Charge Forked River Woman With Drunk Driving After Motor Vehicle Stop
Arrest took place near Lakeside Drive South, police chief says.

Lacey police recently charged a Forked River woman with driving under the influence after stopping her on Lakeside Drive South near Bullard Avenue, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Michael Verwey conducted a traffic stop at 6:11 on Oct. 23. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Mallory L. Thomas, Daytona Road. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was also charged with reckless driving, speeding and failure to yield to right of way, the chief said.
The vehicle she was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, DiBella said.
