Police: Fence-Jumping Shoplifters Stole Thousands From Walmart
Two Ocean County residents were charged with shoplifting after allegedly stealing more than $2,000 worth in electronics and more

Lacey Police arrested two Ocean County residents for allegedly shoplifting thousands from Walmart.
Douglas Longo, 27, of Toms River and Newark, and Rocquel Barretto, 24, of Manchester was arrested for allegedly stealing $2,774.86 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 8:50 p.m.
The two gathered the merchandise, scaled the fence, and retrieved the items when they got on the other side, where Lacey police were waiting.

Items stolen include two vacuums valued at more than $500 each, Canon digital cameras, video games, Xbox games, Wii accessories, clothing, a Blu-Ray DVD player and a duffle bag to put all the merchandise in.
Longo and Barretto were sent to Ocean County Jail with bail set at $10,000 each.

Dec. 19
Three juveniles were located near the Lacey Public Works building at 9 a.m., during school hours. The males were 16-year-old Lacey Township High School Students.
One juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was turned over to his parents. The other two were returned to school.
Dec. 17
Melissa Orouke, 33, of Lanoka Harbor was charged with shoplifting $91 of merchandise from Walmart. She was processed and released.
Dec. 15
Police responded to a possible burglary of a garage at a Vaughn Avenue residence at 12:10 a.m. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Items, including copper wire, extension cords and an outpour motor, were organized to steal.
