Police Find Headless Pet Snake In Waretown
Ocean Township police found a dead pet snake on Wednesday at Tuomey Park. Anyone with info is asked to contact the police department.
WARETOWN, NJ — Ocean Township Police Department received a complaint reporting a dead snake near the baseball field at Tuomey Park on Wednesday.
Humane law enforcement officers responded and located a headless four-foot snake which had additional injuries to it.
The snake appeared to be an exotic pet and not indigenous to the area, police said.

The snake had a gray, brown and black pattern on it and is believed to be a subspecies of boa or python.
