Popcorn Park's Annual Humane Day Celebration Is Coming Up On Saturday

The annual free event will have a host of crafters, vendors, food, music and demonstrations by a number of organizations.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Want to help the Associated Humane Societies keep Popcorn Park Zoo going and have some fun at the same time?

Then come to the Annual Humane Day Celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9 at the shelter at 1 Humane Way in Forked River.

The Craft and Vendor Fair will have food, face painting, games, bouncy houses, along with a number of demonstrations from a variety of groups, Zoo Director John Bergmann said.

Some of the demonstrations include Mystic Moonlight Dancers and Farasha & Su'ad Dance & Designs, Project Terrapin, the Seaside Ramblers, Precision Gymnastics and music by DJ JJ from J Amazing Entertainment.

There will also be a number of adoptable pets on hand to meet and greet guests. But please leave your own pets at home for the event.
