LACEY, NJ — A planned power outage will go into effect in Lacey on Friday morning while Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) works on substation equipment.

For JCP&L to safely conduct the work, customers must experience a service interruption, according to spokesperson Chris Hoenig. JCP&L expects the outage to take place around 8:30 a.m. and last for approximately 15 minutes.

The outage is expected to impact about 4,700 households in Lacey Township, but JCP&L could not provide the specific streets included in the outage area as of Wednesday afternoon.
