Roads Passable, Power Outages Widespread
Approximately 5,839 residents are without power after yesterday's nor'easter, according to JCP&L
This morning, Lacey residents woke up to snow, slick roads and widespread power outages.
Although the roads were a “mess” this morning with traffic issues due to the road conditions, they are now “passable and in good condition” with the exception of many down wires and tree limbs, Township Administrator and Municipal Clerk Veronica Laureigh said.
“Residents need to be careful when driving on the roads due to down wires and they may not be visible due to snow on some of the side streets,” she said.

Last night, a portion of Lacey Road west of the parkway had to be closed due to a tree across the road.
“The trees are brittle and heavy from the snow,” she said.

Prior to the snowstorm, 1,906 still remained without power due to Hurricane Sandy and JCP&L expected restoration by Saturday, Nov. 10. An updated date is not currently available on the state's Hurricane Sandy Information Center.
