Santa Claus Visits Salon In Lacey To 'Lift Some Spirits'

LACEY, NJ — To lighten up the holiday season during a difficult year, the owner of Salon Bellissimo invited Santa Claus to pass out candy canes and spread cheer at the salon Friday afternoon.

Santa rang jingle bells and greeted young kids and clients as they were getting their hair styled. He also waved to cars outside, while some pulled over to snap pictures.

“I hired Santa to bring out the Christmas spirit during this difficult year we all had. I was able to lift some spirits,” owner Lisa Colalillo-Gee told Patch. "Clients called me the next day to thank us for the lift."

Colalillo-Gee plans on inviting Santa to visit Salon Bellissimo again next year.

Salon Bellissimo is located at 407 Lacey Rd. in Forked River.
