Shoe Drive At Lacey United Methodist Church Ends Tuesday

LACEY, NJ — Tuesday is the last day for people to drop off donations for the Lacey United Methodist Church’s shoe drive fundraiser.

The shoe drive is raising funds for the church and helping people in need. The LUMC fundraising team recently partnered with the Funds2orgs group, which helps people in developing nations, including Haiti, Colombia and Tanzania.

LUMC is seeking gently used and new pairs of shoes. All shoe donations must be in good condition, clean and still wearable so the footwear can be given a second life for those in need.

Drop-off locations include the church office, the Joy Of Angels Thrift Shoppe (on church property), Retro Fitness in Forked River, Lacey Recreation, Jersey Charm Coffee and OTA Car Care.

Shoes will be collected until Tuesday, July 27. For more information about the program, contact the LUMC Office at 609-693-5222.
