Three Arrested During Heroin Drug Bust, One Woman Had A Five-Year-Old In Car With Her
Police seized 17 bags of heroin during traffic stop, Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Lacey police recently charged three residents with possession of heroin and endangering the welfare of a child after a traffic stop on Center Street near Newark Avenue, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
The bust took place at 8:26 p.m. on Dec. 21, when the Lacey Township Police Narcotics Unit stopped Julia Michota, 24, Brick Avenue, Aleshia Casper, 24, Wood Avenue, Frederick Vona, 24, Wood Avenue and a five-year-old child in Michota's care, the chief said.
Casper was charged with possession of 17 bags of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe, an outstanding $500 Lacey warrant and endangering the welfare of a child. Vona was arrested on two outstanding warrants, one from Robbinsville and a $3,271 from the Ocean County Sheriff's Department and charged with possession of heroin and endangering the welfare of a child; Michota was charged with possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and endangering the welfare of a child.

All three were taken to police headquarters and processed. Casper and Vona were both lodged in the Ocean County in default of bail. Michota was released on her own recognizance. The child was released to family members, the chief said.
