Owner surrendered chihuahua/pomeranian mix after someone threw him on a bed.

Tiny "Coyote" is only 12 weeks old. But he has been through too much already in his story
The little chihuahua/pomeranian mix is recovering from a broken leg at Popcorn Park Zoo. His owner surrendered him and said someone threw Coyote down on a bed, according to a post on the shelter's Facebook page.
"Apparently they were unable to provide Coyote with any medical care," the post states.

An orthopedic surgeon determined that the break did not require surgery, but Coyote need cage rest.
"He spent about four weeks resting comfortably in our Vinnie Van Gogh Recovery Suite and now Coyote is like a new puppy and ready to start over," the post states. "This spunky little guy doesn't let anything get him down. That's for sure. He's all puppy and just wants to play and have fun."

The friendly little dog will need basic puppy training. He needs to be kept safe so he does not re-injure his leg. He also needs a home with no children under 10.
"Coyote gets along fine with dogs and cats and loves everyone that he meets," the post states.
If you can offer Coyote a loving home, come in and meet him. His file number is 26820.
