Two Vehicles Burglarized in Lanoka Harbor

Car doors were unlocked, according to a report

Two residents of Sinclair Avenue in Lanoka Harbor reported to police that their vehicles had been broken into, police said.

According to a police report, the residents' cars were parked – but unlocked – in their driveways when the burglaries occurred some time between 9:30 p.m. on Sunday and 7 a.m., Monday.

According to a statement from police, loose change along with a  purse were stolen. The purse was reported to be a Dolce & Gabbana replica which was black and gray in color.

The total approximate value of stolen property is $136.

Local police departments across Ocean County have recently been urging residents to lock their cars, even when they are parked in private driveways.
