FORKED RIVER, NJ — After 40 years spent working on cars, Forked River's "Jerzey Jim" Farrell got to show off his skills to the world as a competitor on NBC's new "Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge."
His iconic Dodge Charger (which also holds a special meaning to him) won over the judges and in his appearance in the show's premiere, he came away with a $25,000 prize.
But that's not all. Now, Farrell has the chance to appear in the finale airing Aug. 1 and the opportunity to win another $50,000 - and see his beloved Charger made into a real life Hot Wheels die-cast car.
