According to Rutgers University’s Career Services, you need to evaluate yourself before writing your resume. Self-evaluation includes identifying your transferable skills- interpersonal, communication, leadership, and organizational. Once you identify the skills you have demonstrated through your experiences, you can include them on your resume to market yourself. Interview tip of the week:

Practice makes perfect. To hone your interview skills, you can attend workshops and job fairs. The Department of Labor and Workforce Development has One-Stop Career Centers across the state.
