Zombie Wedding To Raise Funds For Deborah
IHeartHorror Day Part 3: GroundhogZilla to take place on Groundhog Day weekend.
On Saturday, February 1st, the Brothers Cuneo will be presenting their annual iHeartHorror Day event at the Active Adult Center, located at 423 Main Street, in Sayreville. This being their third year celebrating all things horror, this year's event is entitled "GroundhogZilla," due to the event taking place on Groundhog Day weekend. This is also extra special for the Cuneo boys because their dad was born on Groundhog Day. Speaking to Chris and Greg on the phone, you could hear the excitement in their voices for this year's event due to it being their biggest one yet, both in size of the venue and the guests and events that are planned. As with the previous two years, this horror extravaganza is designed to raise money for Deborah Heart and Lung Center, located in Browns Mills.
The third floor of the building, which is being referred to as the Spiritual Realm, will host screenings of certain films. Two of these include "The Zombie Wedding" and "What Lives Here." There will also be a silent auction where the highest bidders get a chance to have their own zombie wedding live at the event. If you are planning to bid on this opportunity, remember to bring your own dress-to-impress attire. Makeup artists will be on hand to zombify the participants. You would also be allowed to have eight people in your wedding party. Father Evil will be presiding over the ceremony, but do keep in mind that this is not legally binding. Josh Zuckerman will be performing "The Wedding March" on the violin. Weekly World News released the film "The Zombie Wedding," with Joe Corcoran acting as Producer.
Before this building was a Senior Center, it was a school and the third floor was rumored to be haunted. Therefore, Cara R. Cilento and Gail A. Gamble of Nine Lives Paranormal will be performing a live investigation. In addition, there will be a Bill Murray Zombie Contest, where you can dress up as a zombie version of a Bill Murray character from any of his roles.
