21-Year-Old Mercer Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Woods: Police
The Pennington man was declared dead at the scene, police said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ - A 21-year-old Mercer County man was killed when his car veered off the road and crashed into the wood in Hopewell, police said.
On Tuesday, at 3:02 p.m., Hopewell Township Police officers were dispatched to a single-car crash on County Route 518 just outside Hopewell Borough.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a grey Saturn sedan off the roadway in a wooded area between The Kings Path and Aunt Molly Road.

According to investigation, the driver of the Saturn was traveling west on County Route 518 when he went off the road into a wooded area and struck a tree.
The driver, a 21-year-old from Pennington, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is being investigated by Officer George Peterson and Detective Steven Ciosek of the Hopewell Township Police Department, as well as Detectives from the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Serious Collision Response Team.
