4 Mercer Students Hospitalized After Eating Suspected Weed Gummies
The Division of Child Protection and Permanency is now investigating the matter, police said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ – Four students from a Mercer County charter school were hospitalized on Monday after they ingested suspected weed gummies, Ewing police said.
Around 9 a.m. on Monday, Ewing Police responded to STEMCivics Charter School for a report of students who may have ingested suspected cannabis gummies.
Four juvenile students were taken to an area hospital as a precaution.

The matter was referred to the Division of Child Protection and Permanency for further investigation, police said.
The Ewing-based charter school is located at 1555 Pennington Road. In January, the Department of Education revoked the school's charter effective June 30 of this year. This came after the school failed to implement a remedial plan following its placement on probation on February 2023.
